Worlds 2020 Group Stage Started Today
Worlds 2020 continues to bring us adrenaline-fueled matches after a short break. Closing the play-in stage on 30th of September with four teams finally making their way into group stage, contenders were counting down for the actual fight to begin.
At the end of a 6-day warm-up among 10 underdog teams, we are seeing Team Liquid, Unicorns of Love, PSG Talon and LGD Gaming going against the world’s best squads in the Rift. First day started with Group D matches, and Top Esports managed to take the victory home against FlyQuest in the very first match of group stage. Next in the line, we are seeing Unicorns of Love going against DragonX team. While looking pretty confident during their knockout match against Papara SuperMassive, Unicorns of Love was reminded by DragonX about what the real competition is actually like with a very decisive victory taken home by DragonX.
First day of groups will be continuing four more matches from Group B and Group C. These matches are Rogue vs. PSG Talon, DamWon Gaming vs. JD Gaming, Gen.G vs. LGD Gaming and finally TSM vs. Fnatic.
