VALORANT Comes Back With One New Agent and One New Map
In recent days, VALORANT have surprised its fan base with what they have longed for: A new map, Icebox, and another new agent, Skye.
Icebox, as the name makes it quite clear to guess, is a map that features tundra climate. Opposed to initial four maps in the rotation, we are set to see a very different color palette in this new playground. Also there are some ziplines seen around, which seems similar to the rope climbing areas that are already in the game. Exterior areas are pretty good at conveying the feeling of harsh cold climate while interiors are boasting a strong contrast with the cozy atmosphere. Of course, that will not last very long when match begins and things are set on fire pretty quick. Act III is currently appearing to be a neat experience to expect in VALORANT.
Next up, we are seeing our newest addition to the agents roster, Skye. Themed as a “protector of nature”, Skye is hinted to be a utility-heavy agent to compliment the tactical decisions. She uses beasts to help her in the battle for various purposes. She can blind her enemies with the hawk, concuss them with tiger, scout them around the map with wisp-like homing projectiles and also provide healing in a large area for her allies.
Act III will start on 13th of October, but Skye will be kept until 27th. During this time, it appears to be that developers are going to monitor and patch the issues.
