Twitch and LVP Are Joining Forces For VALORANT Genesis Cups
Tournament organizer and broadcaster company LVP and the world’s one of the largest streaming platforms Twitch are announcing the Genesis Cups for VALORANT. Based in Barcelona, LVP is aiming to bring a better chance to Spanish teams and players to operate in VALORANT’s ever-growing competitive scene.
Genesis Cups will consist of five independent tournaments that take eight teams each. Six of these teams will be invited by the organization, and last two will be qualifying over the matches played on ArenaGG, which is LVP’s platform for competition. Prize pool for Genesis Cups is announced as €20,000 (around $24,000).
Tournament will be played online due to COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown due to health and safety concerns of participants. Event will be sponsored by Philips OneBlade and Domino’s. Further details about the event will be revealed at a later time.
