6th of September, 2020 was a very exciting day for League of Legends community. The day held two Bo5 grand final series, former being LEC Summer 2020 and latter being LCS Summer 2020. LEC Summer 2020 grand finals came to an end pretty quick as G2 overpowered Fnatic with a straight 3–0 score. On the other hand, LCS Summer 2020 grand finals had a different scenario.

TSM faced FlyQuest for the last sprint of LCS Summer 2020 and it was indeed a very exciting series. TSM was surely the favorite of fans and analysts alike, but FlyQuest was also not an underdog either. With two former famous TSM players Santorin and WildTurtle, FlyQuest was definitely not a stranger for TSM’s playstyle and mindset.

Still, it wasn’t enough for them to raise the cup.

We are talking about TSM here, so make no mistake. Two top-tier players Bjergsen and Doublelift are the names which are more than enough to inspire fear in everyone who plays against them on middle and bottom lanes. Shining in late era, BrokenBlade is quite fearsome for his opponents on top lane with his relentless plays. Spica in jungle and Biofrost as support also put a very efficient and solid fight throughout the series, pushing these grinder-grade death squad trio with all they have, it was clearly a great formula that equaled in championship title for TSM in the end.

Series started with a serious TSM dominance, which is not a surprise. They managed to counter the tactics and moves of FlyQuest quite nicely throughout the first two games, but FlyQuest made it clear enough that they were not just going to sit and wait to be decimated in grand finals. Despite the tough spot they were in, they managed to bring the series back to 2–2 with an incredible comeback. Of course, it was all great for viewers rather than the teams as we were happy to see a final match to hold all the stakes.

TSM made an interesting move in the drafts of fifth match, and left the Sett-Ashe duo to FlyQuest after rocking it for first four matches straight. Motives behind this sudden change of composition was unknown to us, but results spoke loud enough in the end. TSM managed to win the series 3–2 and bring the LCS Summer 2020 cup home.
