League European Championship 2020 Summer Series is coming to its end with totally thrilling battles. After losing to Fnatic on winners’ finals, G2 went to face Rogue in losers’ finals for one last chance to keep their spots in the tournament and face Fnatic for revenge.

Rogue was no different though, as they were also a victim to Fnatic in semifinals. Both teams were playing today for their chance of revenge, and potentially the crown of LEC Summer 2020. Despite odds were in G2’s favor, Rogue is also definitely not a newcomer here and no one could say them they would be easy to beat.

Bo5 series started very intensely as Rogue did not lose time to grab the very first map by a decisive victory over G2. The excellence they displayed during the teamfights from the very preparation until very last moment was the primary factor for their fearsome triumph over their rivals. But G2 was surely not that easy to beat.

G2 shrugged that initial blow off quick and turned the tables around for a series to play which was almost already sure to see fifth game with such a tempo. Being a really experienced team, they managed to also win the third game and bring the score to 2–1, putting an immense pressure on Rogue as they were only one game away from stealing the ticket for grand finals.

Rogue rose up to the challenge immediately and pushed G2 off on fourth game, finally bringing the series to long awaited 2–2 score for a mindblowingly exciting final match. Fifth game went quite balanced for its first half as both teams were cautious, but G2 did not forgive Rogue’s mistakes in the second half and won the teamfights one after another. MVP award went to Caps as he simply bullied Rogue for entire series.

At long last, we are now waiting for the big match between Fnatic and G2. The series will take place tomorrow at 4PM, and will be livestreamed on twitch.tv/lec channel. Remember to tune in for one of the biggest esports matches of 2020!
