VALORANT has been one of the most successful esports titles of 2020 as we all know by now. The surprise reveal followed by a huge shockwave throughout the scene, many professionals switching their games to this highly anticipated new esports hype even before game came out officially and organizations getting in the line for their own Ignition Series events.

After this crazy year we had from the very moment we heard the project with the name “Project A”, VALORANT also managed to come a long way to improve itself even further and bring the players lots of new content to enjoy. Many people quickly embraced this new title as if it has been there for all these years like an old friend. Now we are getting to see the first official VALORANT regional championships with this newly announced tournament “First Strike”.

The regional finals will be taking place across North America, Europe, CIS, Turkey, Asia, Oceania, Brazil, and the Middle East. Developers are very clearly telling the participants to “start building their rosters and practice” as qualifiers will begin in second half of October. The regional finals for all regions between December 3rd and 6th.

Last but not least, the team behind VALORANT leaves a message to us. They clearly acknowledge that the “competitive integrity” is a top priority matter to them, and they are working hard to make VALORANT the best esports title for upcoming years. With these good news, we are all getting excited to see the first crowned regional champions in around just 2.5 months.
