A few weeks ago, FACEIT has announced a series of changes in their system after some deep movements taking place in CS:GO professional scene. One of these changes was the FPL Cups that will allow promotion to FPL and FPL-C.

First one of these events will be hosted by Mythic, which is also announced in their Twitter account. Prize pool is $4,000 and registering process already started.

Tournament will be taking place on 12–13th of September and will be played in single-elimination Bo1 format until semifinalists are all determined. Second day will see top four teams facing each other in Bo3 format for the remaining matches. Players from winning team will each earn fifteen points for FPL Leaderboard. This leaderboard will be active for two months and determine the players (number currently unknown) who will earn spots in FPL and FPL-C.
