Mark “Scruffy” Yetter Announces A New Era In League Of Legends

Lead Gameplay Designer for League of Legends, Mark “Scruffy” Yetter keeps on giving us hints about the next season of League of Legends. This time though, we are seeing an entirely new concept in the items section.

This new surprise is called Mythic Items.

Mythic items will be extremely powerful, though you can only have just one of them on you. The bonuses and effects of those Mythic Items will be both very intense and very deterministic about your build.

The most unique part of Mythic Items is though, having the “Mythic Passive” effects which will be adding further unique stats to your other items. This means that we will be seeing a serious variety of tactics and theorycrafting in next season of League of Legends.

The initial leak by Scruffy gives us only three items and they may still be subject to further changes before the full content is released. Nonetheless, this new concept alone is more than enough to make the fans excited. With the full-scale changes arriving, Summoner’s Rift will be definitely witnessing a whole new era in its history.
