Gla1ve Announced That He Will Not Be Playing In ESL One Cologne
One of the core members of Danish powerhouse Astralis, gla1ve was out of the active roster after his medical leave in May. He already mentioned previously that he wanted to come back and move forward with his team, but he also appears to prefer a more steady and cautious approach as he announced recently that he will not be participating in ESL One Cologne which will take place between August 18th and 30th.
According to hltv.org’s news, he is signed up as backup players with Xyp9x for the tournament. While their roster is still quite powerful, it is of no doubt that one of the best in-game leader’s absence will have a serious impact on the team’s performance. With the recent changes in Astralis roster, anticipation for a tough competition will be surely intense.
