Flashpoint 2 CS:GO Tournament Is Announced With $1M Prize Pool

One of the late period show events, Flashpoint is returning with a mindblowing prize pool to stir up the hive. Among all the news and updates regarding coaching bug in last two months, fans were all thirsty for some nice tournament announcements so this one is surely gold.

Tournament will take place between November 9th and December 6th. 12 teams will be fighting to the very end for grabbing the biggest slice from this greatly appealing cake in the middle. Participating teams will consist of seven founding members as FunPlus Phoenix is omitted from the list, three invited teams and two qualified teams. Invited teams are announced to be from the top 20 rankings and qualified teams will be fighting their way up from the open qualifier in early October (October 8 and 10, two open qualifiers). Once they advance to closed qualifiers, they will face another lineup of invited teams for the closed qualifier series between October 12th and 14th. This qualifier will be best-of-three tournament with a double-elimination style.

Broadcast talents will be Duncan “⁠Thorin⁠” Shields and commissioner Christopher “⁠MonteCristo⁠” Mykles.
