FC Schalke 04 Keeps On Destroying The Odds In Miracle Run
Last month has been an incredible sight to behold in League European Championship with Schalke 04’s impossible run against all odds. Starting from way back, 6th week of the group stage in League European Championship Summer 2020, they literally came back from the grave and they are now haunting all the teams out there who are still in competition with an insatiable hunger for victory.
Finishing the first 5 weeks of LEC 2020 group stage with only 1 win in 11 matches, they were considered as good as gone already. Despite they technically had a chance to win all matches and make it up to playoffs, no one really expected them to come back from that performance.
What do we really know though?
No one is sure about what happened after 5th week, but their unbelieveable rampage is not stopping, not slowing down and growing even more fearsome with every match. Their last victim was SK Gaming in yesterday’s match with a 3–0 score in the end, and MVP Abbedagge was again rocking it hard.
According to last state of playoff bracket, they are now set to face the strongest opponents in the tournament. Their next match will be on 28th of August, and their opponents will be the team that loses the lower brackets of semifinals’ loser round. Until then, we will still be watching very high tension matches but there is one thing to clarify.
Which is stronger for semifinal contenders, is it the urge for victory or is it the fear of facing such a scary opponent who is stampeding entire tournament with a burning vengeance?
