FaZe Clan Wins PUBG Continental Series #2 Europe
After PUBG Continental Series #2 North America coming to an end with Soniqs having an impressive championship title, PCS #2 Europe is also finished.
Six intense days of competition with a total of 24 matches divided into three weekends played among best 16 teams of Europe was a sight to behold. Starting with Natus Vincere dominance in the first week, the usual bully duo of Team Liquid and FaZe Clan were not pushing everyone around right off the bat. In second week though, they decided enough is enough and made their swift moves to top of the rankings together.
Alongside the tough competition between FaZe Clan and Team Liquid on top, the stable runner-up trio of TSM, shiftW and ENCE also put up a great fight to steal a nice spot.
Again, we are seeing interesting statistics similar to the PCS #2 NA. FaZe Clan was the only team to hit 80 placement points and 130 kill points thresholds. They were followed by Team Liquid with 72 placement points and 117 kill points. FaZe Clan was also the only team to make it past 200 total points threshold. We are also seeing a proof of aggression from TSM as they had only 48 placement points but made it up to third place with 113 kill points. Exact opposite of this was ENCE, claiming a whopping 71 placement points but only 80 kill points, resulting in fifth place. They surely preferred the safer path to their scores.
With this huge event left behind, now our focus is fixed on PCS #3. European event registrations are starting today, on September 14th, at 19.00 local time for the regions of Europe West, Europe East and Middle East & Africa (MEA). Around a month later, we will be seeing the best of the best coming back to “kill, loot and repeat”.
