Call of Duty has been a well-respected staple series of gaming history since its very first game, and despite having its ups and downs through the years, gamers always stayed loyal to the franchise in many situations. May it be its scenario, storytelling, theme, atmosphere or good old arcade taste in multiplayer mode, the series has always been coming back to give us more.

After a long silence, the developers decided to give the game a great comeback by jumping into the recently popularized Battle Royale party within the industry. As a result, now we are also enjoying Call of Duty: Warzone after years of reign enjoyed by PUBG and Fortnite when it comes to Battle Royale genre.

Widely accepted and loved by the community, game is now getting a well-paced support and development to carry it into next level step by step. Being the newest part of this process, Infinity Ward announced its Season 5 updates with a high-octane trailer.

In the trailer, we are seeing small teasers of the incoming content and updates to the game. The most attractive ones for Modern Warfare are the new maps Suldal Harbor (6v6), Petrov Oil Rig (6v6), Livestock (Gunfight) and Verdansk International Airport (Ground War).

On the Warzone side, we are seeing very critical changes to the game that will bring a whole new level of gameplay. Stadium roof being opened up and interiors being available for an entirely groundbreaking alteration of play area, ziplines near some buildings to allow easier attacks on snipers, turrets on some vehicles, a train full of weapons roaming the map are going to be immensely effective on refreshing the fun.

New season will be available on August 5, and content will be free. Players are also able to buy the battle pass for $9.99 for additional rewards.
