BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Showdown Semi-Finals Are On The Way
Bringing the concept of “quickfire tournaments” alongside a blasting thrill, BLAST is ending the year with the great series BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Showdown. With its $150,000 prize pool and Bo3 format, teams are fighting for the crown like there is no tomorrow.
While series is coming to an end soon, we have already seen many titans and underdogs knocked out alike. In the very first round, names like NiP, FaZe, GODSENT were out of the competition pretty fast. Promising late era teams like Endpoint, MAD Lions, Spirit and Sprout also lost their grip before they could have a chance. Last team to say an early goodbye was Isurus, yet it was not a very huge surprise as their rivals were indeed strong.
With quarter-finals running up fast, we only had well-known names in the pit. After a very fierce series of fights, towels were thrown in for Virtus.Pro, MiBR, Heroic and Complexity this time. Except for MiBR, all matches ended with the score of 2–1.
Today we are set to see the semi-finals phase between FURIA and Liquid first at 6.30PM, and then mousesports will face Cloud9 at 9.30PM to determine who will continue their rise towards the finals.
